Ripley Machine is an ISO Certified machine shop that manufactures custom-made parts for a wide variety of industries. Valve Bodies
Ripley Machine specializes in manufacturing valve bodies for a variety of applications. Valve bodies can be made from stainless steel, aluminum, steel, or from a customer provided casting or forging. Ripley Machine uses CNC lathes to machine valve bodies, and can use vertical milling as a complementary tool for milling features or adding ports. In 2022, we added a Kitamura HX-300iG/400 High Speed Horizontal Machining Center with pallet changers. This machine has allowed us to complete multiple operations at once on cast valve bodies.
Bushings & Adapters
Ripley Machine can also manufacture all kinds of bushings and adapters for a range of applications. Bushings are often manufactured from steel, and occasionally from stainless steel, and our adapters are made from steel, stainless steel, or aluminum. We use CNC lathes or Swiss machines, as well as working with outside resources for heat treating or plating to help get the parts hardened or plated as necessary. Additionally, we use grinding to grind the bushings with very tight tolerances. We grind the OD of bushings using centerless grinding, and the ID with internal grinding. Valve Components
In addition to valve bodies, we also manufacture various valve components. This includes pistons, stems, rods, valve spring retainers, wafer check valve components, and any other component a valve might require. We manufacture these valve components from stainless steel, brass, aluminum, steel, and forging. We use CNC lathes for the majority of our manufacturing, and can also use our CNC Swiss machines. Fasteners
Ripley Machine specializes in manufacturing all kinds of fasteners for various industries and applications, including the medical, mechanical, transportation, trucking, rail, and off-road vehicle industries, among many others. We are able to machine fasteners from various types of steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminum. We also can modify a standard off-the-shelf fastener to fit customer applications. Our CNC Swiss machine can handle fastener production at higher quantities while our CNC Lathes with live tooling can handle smaller quantities and as well as custom applications.
